In 2005 through 2011, John has been named one of “America’s Best Financial Planners” by the Consumers’ Research Council of America. He, along with the team at Capital Fiduciary Advisors, have a dedicated focus on providing objective and client focused investment advisory services and financial planning services for high net worth families, foundations/endowments and institutions.
John brings more than 24 years of investment advisory services, risk management services and financial planning experience to his role as CEO and Managing Director of Capital Fiduciary Advisors, LLC, an independent Registered Investment Advisor (RIA). Prior to forming Capital Fiduciary Advisors in 2006, John was a Managing Director at Wealth & Tax Advisory Services (WTAS, a division of HSBC Private Bank in McLean, Virginia), where he was responsible for the Investment Advisory practice and led a team that advised on over $2 billion of client assets – private and institutional. Prior to Wealth & Tax Advisory Services, John spent 16 years with Prudential Financial and Securities, Inc. in Washington, DC as a Managing Director and Financial Advisor, respectively. At Prudential, he provided an array of advisory services, including wealth management, private and institutional investment consulting, and risk management.
John is a graduate of the Business School at Shepherd University, (Shepherdstown, WV) and advanced financial planning certificates from the American College (Bryn Mawr, PA). John is an active member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA), Investment Management Consultants Association (IMCA), and the Social Investment Forum (SRI Research Association). He and the firm are members of the 5 Star rating of the Paladin Registry, recognition for Competence, Ethics, and Business Practices and recently recognized by National Association of Board Certified Advisory Practices (NABCAP) as one of Washington DC’s “Top Wealth Managers 2011”.

Ms. Wetmore joined Access Capital Management, LLC, now Capital Fiduciary Advisors, LLC, in early 2010 as a Director and founding team member. Access Capital Management, LLC merged with Capital Fiduciary Advisors in early 2011. Now as a Director with Capital Fiduciary Advisors, Jacolyn's duties and responsibilities include client investment and relationship management, business development and overall strategic management of the firm.
Jacolyn has 15 years experience in investment management and private banking/fiduciary services. Prior to joining the firm, Jacolyn was a Senior Wealth Advisor with the Private Wealth Management Group at United Bank for five years. Before relocating to the DC Metro area for her last position, Jacolyn was a Vice President and Institutional Development Officer with TD Banknorth Wealth Management Group in Portland, Maine. She began her investment career with Morgan Stanley Dean Witter, where she worked for three years. Jacolyn received a B.S. in Business from Syracuse University and an MBA from Clarkson University. She holds FINRA license series 65.
Jacolyn resides in Arlington, VA and is newly accepted into the Leadership Arlington class of 2012. Jacolyn serves on the board of Directors for Hospice Cup, Inc., and also works as a liaison for Capital Caring, Inc. She is a competitive sailor, and actively races on the Chesapeake Bay circuit.

Prior to joining Capital Fiduciary Advisors, LLC, Devereaux was a Senior Vice President and Senior Portfolio Manager for United Bank’s Private Wealth Group. In addition to managing client portfolios, he served on the Bank’s Investment Committee as a senior member, where he was responsible for formulating fixed income strategies and overall investment allocation policy. Dev has over 35 years experience in private banking and investment management working with high net worth individuals, corporate executives, business owners, and institutional clients such as non-profits, endowments, and charitable organizations. Previous employers include PNC Advisors, Riggs Bank, The Inter- American Development Bank and JP Morgan in both New York and London. Dev lives in Chevy Chase, MD with his wife and children.

Christopher J. Williams began his financial services career in Fairfax, VA following his graduation from Longwood University. At Longwood University, Chris received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. Chris brings more than 15 years of investment consulting and wealth advisory experience to his role as Director of Capital Fiduciary Advisors, an independent Registered Investment Advisor (RIA). Prior to joining Capital Fiduciary Advisors, Chris was a Financial Advisor within the Private Banking and Investment Group at Merrill Lynch. At Merrill Lynch, he performed complex portfolio construction, estate planning, and financial planning strategy for high net worth individuals and corporations. Prior to Merrill Lynch, Chris spent several years with a small boutique financial services firm in McLean, VA as a banking officer. As an experienced investment consultant for individuals and institutions, Chris helps clients implement strategic plans for long term investment success.

Jonathan comes to CFA with over 10 years of experience in the financial services industry. As a Director of Business Development, Jonathan's responsibilities include developing and executing the strategic vision of the firm.
Coming to CFA as a Wealth Advisor, Jonathan takes the view of being each client's personal CFO and is responsible for providing customized comprehensive wealth management solutions. Jonathan joined Capital Fiduciary Advisors January of 2012 after spending five years with Fidelity Investments in Tyson's Corner, VA. While at Fidelity as an Account Executive he worked closely with each client, helping advise approximately $330 million, in such areas as portfolio construction/ analysis, retirement planning, tax planning, estate analysis and more. Prior to Fidelity, Jonathan was a Financial Advisor with Ameriprise Financial focusing on holistic planning and portfolio construction. With a focus on the client's investment needs, Jonathan helped evaluate the income tax, gift and estate planning aspects of the client's overall wealth management plan. He helped clients develop an asset allocation strategy and managed the implementation and monitoring process. Before Ameriprise, he worked for New York Life as a Financial Representative spending most of his time helping clients with protection and estate planning. Prior to New York Life he worked for Merrill Lynch helping advisors with research and marketing.
Jonathan hold a Bachelor's of Arts in Economics from George Mason University. He later studied at Georgetown University's Arlington campus where he acquired an Executive Certificate in Financial Planning. He went on to sit for and now holds the Certified Financial Planner™ designation. Jonathan currently resides in Leesburg, VA with his wife and children.

After working in the wealth management industry for the past three years, Joy has developed a specialized expertise in client operations. Her responsibilities also include portfolio construction, asset evaluation, research and statistical cash flow modeling. She coordinates the timely delivery of services to clients via the team's large universe of specialized managers and hedge fund providers. She received a B.A. in Banking and Finance from Chulalongkorn University, a Premier University in Thailand, and a M.S. in Finance from Johns Hopkins University. She is looking forward to obtaining her industry licenses in the near future.

Daniel Saunders joined Capital Fiduciary Advisors in January 2011 as an Associate Portfolio Analyst. He will support the Principals in analyzing, creating, and monitoring client portfolios and operations.
Prior to joining Capital Fiduciary Advisors, Dan was a Trader in the Chicago Board of Trade with Sharmac Capital Management. While at Sharmac, Dan traded futures contracts with a focus on U.S. equity and fixed income. Dan also has experience as an Analyst at James River Capital, a Hedge Fund of Funds located in Richmond Virginia and St. Croix.
Dan earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance with a minor in Psychology from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia. Dan currently resides in Leesburg, Virginia.

Amy Grabowski joined Capital Fiduciary Advisors in 2010 as Client Operations & Executive Assistant.
Prior to joining Capital Fiduciary Advisors, Amy worked in the non for profit industry and fund raising. Amy also has prior experience working for Putnam Investments.
Amy earned an Associates degree from Dean College in Franklin, Massachusetts. Amy currently resides in Leesburg, Virginia.
